Leadership shaped by decades in public education
Character + credibilityMy name is Diana Sayavedra, and I’m an education leader with more than three decades of experience serving students, educators, and communities across Texas. My background spans classroom teaching, campus leadership, district administration, and executive roles, including service as Deputy Superintendent and Acting Superintendent in a large public school district.
My work focuses on strengthening the systems that support schools—bringing clarity, alignment, and consistency so educators can do their best work and students can thrive. I lead collaboratively, with integrity and transparency, and value strong governance partnerships and clear communication, especially during periods of growth or transition.

What guides my work
Let's talk leadershipEducation is the opportunity equalizer, and leadership plays a critical role in shaping outcomes for students and communities.
I’m guided by a few core beliefs:
Strong systems create the conditions for effective teaching and learning
Trust and transparency are essential to sustained leadership
Equity is advanced through intentional design and consistent follow-through
Listening is as important as leading
Students are best served when adults are aligned and focused on what matters most
In every role I take on, my work is grounded in a commitment to students, respect for educators, and responsibility to the communities schools serve.
